Scholars were asked "What does health equity mean to you"?

To me, Health equity is about making a tangible impact by ensuring that no one is denied healthcare simply because they lack the resources to access it. It's a commitment to leveling the playing field and making healthcare a fundamental right accessible to all. Health equity is about breaking down barriers that prevent people from receiving the care they need to live healthy lives. This includes addressing systemic and social determinants of health, such as economic instability, education disparities, and housing inequities, which contribute to unequal health outcomes.
