Program Mentors

Mentorship is an essential part of the Health Equity Scholars Program. We know that students achieve greater success when they are supported and guided in their careers.

Mentors are an important piece of the public health leadership journey, assisting Scholars with identifying needs around career development, helping them gain exposure and experience, and providing valuable networking introductions.

Our mentors are part of a small community of leaders committed to supporting and developing a rising generation of public health practitioners. They are drawn from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds: public health, medicine, industry, nonprofits, and academia. If you’re interested in becoming a mentor, we invite you to learn more about the program, process, and responsibilities.
